Frosty Paws

| Banana and Peanut
Butter |
32
oz vanilla yogurt
1
mashed banana or 1 large jar of baby food (banana)
2
tblsp peanut butter
2
tblsp honey |
 |
Blend
ingredients together and freeze in either 3 oz paper cups, ice cube trays
or used Frosty Paws cups. Tap container lightly to level and then freeze.
Microwave
a few seconds before serving |

| Meat |

- 4 oz jar of baby food meat (beef, turkey, chicken, etc) |

Liver
Cookies

cup water

lb Liver
1
cup cornmeal
1/2
cup powdered milk |
1/2
cup wheat germ
1
cup (or less) whole wheat flour
1
egg
garlic
powder |

| Liquefy
liver and water in blender or food processor. Pour into mixing bowl. Add
all other ingredients and mix well. Pour onto well greased cookie sheet.
Spread evenly, bake @ 350F for 30 minutes. Cut quickly into squares while
hot. Store in freezer.
Variation:
1/2 cup of peanut butter instead of liver and garlic salt |

Filling
for a Hollow Bone

| For
a 2x2 bone
Mix
flour, a tblsp of garlic powder and enough water to make a thick paste.
Stuff bone. Bake @ 100F for 3 hours. Let cool. |

Puppy! Cookies

cup powdered milk

egg, well beaten

1/2 cups flour
1/2
tsp garlic salt |

1/2 tsp brown sugar
1/2
cup water

tblsp gravy

food meat |
Mix
all ingredients and shape into a ball. Roll out on a floured board about
1/2" thick. (use extra flour if needed) Dip cookie cutter in flour and
cut out shapes.
Bake
@ 350F for 25-30 minutes. Cool. Cookies should be hard. |

Deluxe
Dog Cookies

to 16 ounces raw liver
1
1/2 lbs white flour
8
oz Quaker Oats |

Bouillon cubes (beef or chicken)
2
eggs, well beaten
1
cup water (may not use all) |
Chop liver
finely (can also put in blender)
Mix
flour and oats. Crumble in bouillon cubes and add eggs and liver. Add water
and continue until the mixture is a firm dough (will remain a bit sticky)
Roll
out on a floured board about 1/2" thick. (use extra flour if needed)
Dip
cookie cutter in flour and cut out shapes. Place cookies on greased
cookie sheets.
Bake
@ 350F for 60 minutes. Cool. Store in refrigerator for maximum
2 weeks. |

Liver
Morsels
|

| (Great
for training sessions and for obedience classes)
1 package
raw liver
salt
garlic
salt
Bring
salted water to a boil. Place liver into water, leave until cooked through.
Take out and dry with a paper towel. Line cookie sheet with silver foil
and place liver on silver foil and apply garlic salt. Bake @ 350F, turning
one and garlic salting the other side. Bake until dry, but not brittle.
To
test liver, bend it, and it should split like an eraser. Package into small
amounts and freeze. When thawing, dry with a paper towel. |
